Developing Community Leaders
It's mission is to develop and prepare student leaders to initiate and lead activities within their school that will reseult in a more caring and supportive learning community. This program is sponsored by Alignment Nashville with curriculum support from Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
In the Leadership I course, students are exposed to enriching activities such as case studies in leadership through literature, film, thought-provoking readings, and experimental learning. Completion of community service hours is a course requirement.
Following the completion of Leadership I, students are eligible for Leadership II and may earn dual credit from Nashville State Community College.
