Students and faculty of Glencliff High School’s Hospitality and Marketing Academy are hosting donation drives for Locks of Love and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital the week of April 25. Students and community members alike are encouraged to participate in one of two ways:
- Cash donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or
- Hair donation of ten or more inches to Locks of Love
The faculty and students of Glencliff High School’s Hospitality and Marketing Academy support the mission and vision of both non-profit organizations. During the week of April 25, students are volunteering by collecting cash donations from Monday through Saturday. Third and fourth year Cosmetology students will be cutting hair. If you are interested in joining our efforts to support the children of Locks of Love and St. Jude, please call our Cosmetology Department for an appointment during the dates and times listed below:

Hair donations will be accepted on the following dates:
- Wednesday, April 27 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and
- Saturday, April 30 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
You may bring cash to donate on Saturday if you are not able to donate hair. Please join us in support of this mission! This service project is an annual event pioneered last year by School Counselor, Jennifer Marciano. Her efforts were recognized in the June 2010 issue of Ladies Home Journal.
