Nashville Chamber presents The Academies of Nashville Awards

Thursday, May 12, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the inaugural Academy of Nashville Awards Ceremony, an event designed to recognize the work of the district's zoned high schools and community partners in redesigning the schools into smaller, more personalized learning communities. Ralph Schulz, CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, kicked off the evening by taking a page out of Hollywood's Academy Awards playbook and announcing that all winners would be receiving "Jesse" Awards (as opposed to Oscars), in honor of MNPS Director of Schools Dr. Jesse Register.

Congratulations to the following Academy of Nashville Award winners, each of whom proudly took home an "Academy Award:"
